MatchMind Privacy Policy

MatchMind is a post-match coaching journal for soccer coaches. We take your privacy seriously and want to be straightforward about what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it.

What We Collect

When you use MatchMind, we collect:

• Account information: Your email address and a hashed password when you create an account.
• Check-in data: Match details you enter — opponent name, score, date, your feeling rating, tactical phase ratings, tags, match notes, and opponent notes.
• Team data: Team names and season labels you create.

That's it. We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, browsing history, or any other personal data beyond what you actively type into the app.

How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored in two places:

• On your device: Check-ins and teams are saved locally so the app works offline.
• In the cloud: When you're online, your data syncs to our database hosted on Supabase (AWS infrastructure, US East region). This lets you access your data if you switch devices.

What We Don't Do

• We don't sell your data to anyone.
• We don't share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing.
• We don't run analytics or tracking SDKs in the app.
• We don't serve ads.
• We don't profile you or build behavioral models from your usage.

Third-Party Services

MatchMind uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Authentication and database hosting. Supabase processes your email for login and stores your check-in and team data. Supabase Privacy Policy
• Sentry — Crash reporting and error tracking. Sentry receives anonymous error data (stack traces, device type, OS version) to help us fix bugs. No personal data or check-in content is sent. Sentry Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat — Subscription management. RevenueCat processes in-app purchase transactions through Apple. It receives your anonymous user ID and purchase status but not your email or check-in data. RevenueCat Privacy Policy

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or behavioral tracking services.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is kept as long as you have an account. If you want to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below and we will delete everything within 30 days. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

Children's Privacy

MatchMind is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top and notify you through the app. We won't reduce your privacy protections without giving you notice.
